OFFICIAL RULES: TDQ Carolina Reaper Taco Giveaway 2024

• NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. SWEEPSTAKES IS OPEN TO LEGAL TEXAS RESIDENTS ONLY. Participation constitutes entrant’s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:01 AM Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) on 3/25/2024 and ends at 11:59:59 M EST on 4/19/2024.

Eligibility: Sweepstakes is offered only electronically via the Internet and is open to persons who are aged 18 years and older and legal residents of Texas. Individuals employed by or otherwise associated with LOOMIS (“Sponsor”), Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council, their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, independent agents, suppliers, officers and directors, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies and members of their respective immediate families and persons living in the same household, (defined as spouse, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, in-laws, children and siblings and their respective spouses) whether related or not to these individuals are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.

How to Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. You may enter the Sweepstakes by tagging a friend on Texas Dairy Queen’s Instagram Giveaway post each week that corresponds to each Carolina Reaper Taco Giveaway video. Alternate form of entry is to enter online by completing the form fill on the Texas Dairy Queen website https://dqtexas.com/carolina-reaper/. Only one entry per household per day is permitted. All entries become the exclusive property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.

Prize: Two (2) Weekly Winners will be selected on 3/29 and 4/12 to win a $100 DQ® Gift Card and Mystery Swag Box. Two (2) Grand Prize winners will be selected on 4/5 and 4/19 to win a $1000 DQ® Gift Card and Mystery Swag Box. Weekly winners may only be eligible to win one weekly prize but will still have the chance at the grand prize. No alternative prize, cash, or other substitution is permitted except by Sponsor in the event of prize unavailability. Prize is nontransferable/non-salable. All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.

Selection of Winners: Winners will be determined in a random drawing conducted by LOOMIS, Suite 200, 17120 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75248, from among all eligible entries received. All decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. The winners will be notified by an Instagram direct message from @dairyqueentx. If winner is a minor in their state of residence, winner must provide signed parental or guardian consent, in a form provided by the Sponsor, within 10 days of receipt or any prize award will be void and may be forfeited. Sponsor is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost or misdirected entry mail, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winners, or unsuccessful efforts of a winner who is a minor to provide signed parental or guardian consent.

Winner may be required to sign and return a release of liability, declaration of eligibility, and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within 10 days of acknowledged notification. For sweepstakes fulfillment purposes, winners will be required to provide or verify a current, valid mailing address. Any such request must be responded to within 30 calendar days from the date of first notification, or risk forfeiture of sweepstakes prize. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed declaration and releases as required, prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected from remaining eligible entries. Upon prize forfeiture, no other compensation will be given. By accepting and/or using prizes, winners agree to the use of their name, voice, and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online entry, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the email account.

Conditions: By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final. Sponsor, Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council, their respective agents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for: (i) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (ii) failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (iv) any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Sweepstakes; or (v) any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel Sweepstakes at any time if a computer virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, or other technical problem of any sort corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Sweepstakes. Sponsor also reserves the right to disqualify, in its sole discretion, any person tampering with the entry process, operation of the survey website, or who is otherwise in violation of the rules.

By participating in the Sweepstakes, each participant agrees to release and hold Sponsor and Texas Dairy Queen Operators’ Council and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of each, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Sweepstakes or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.

Winners List and Official Rules: We would be pleased to demonstrate our sweepstakes is legitimate. To obtain a copy of the sweepstakes “Winner list” (consisting of 2 weekly winners and two grand prize winners) or a copy of these Official Rules, send your request along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: LOOMIS, Suite 200, 17120 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75248.
